Rusty padded out of his Twoleg den and gazed up at the fence that divided him from the forest. "I wonder it's like there..." Rusty said under his breath. Without thinking, he bounded up on the fence and down onto the forest floor. "Rusty! What are you doing?" Rusty jerked his head around to see his friend, Smudge, calling down to him from a top of the fence. "I just want to see what it's like in there, Smudge. Don't worry, i'll be fine." Rusty replied reassuringly. He padded further into the forest and gazed at the unfamiliar surroundings. Suddenly, something barreled into Rusty, knocking him into the dirt. Rusty whipped around to face his opponent and pounced, landing on the cat's back. Rusty toppled over with his opponent hot at his feet. Rusty twisted back around snagging the cats ear with his paw and then jumping on his back once more. Suddenly, three more cats appeared through the trees. "Alright Graypaw, that's enough." The cat slipped away from Rusty and padded next to the three cats. "Greetings, I am Bluestar, leader of Thunderclan. Who are you?" Rusty looked at the strange cats and then replied. "My name is Rusty." "Bluestar, why are you allowing this furball in our territory?" One of the cats replied. "Patience Longtail, i would like him to join Thunderclan." Disobeying the cats orders, Longtail lunged at Rusty grabbing his pelt. Rusty jerked his neck and bit the cat's ear. Longtail quickly pounced once more, grabbing Rusty's collar. Moments later, it tore in half, lying on the forest floor before the cats. "Rusty, you have lost your collar in your first battle............ From this day forth, you will be only known as, Firepaw. Welcome to the clans........................................."
