Finally! It's big a huge walk but they made it. The SkyClan medicine cat was waiting out side as he went in. SkyClan wasn't used to these rituals. At least he wouldn't have trouble falling asleep. Rainpelt laid down and touched his nose to the cold, dry flour. Soon he was in a deep sleep and then he saw the same place as he did when he was at the Sky Rock.
Sharpstar came up to him again. "So. You are ready." And that's all he said.
Eight SkyClan warriors came to him. All of them he knew. There was Leafstar, Echosong, and many more. But Sharpstar wasn't one of them. He was last.
Sharpstar padded out to him. "With this life I give you leadership. with this life you will be able to lead your Clan even in your darkest hour. A sharp pain pierced Rainpelt like a spear. But soon it was over. And he had all nine lives!
"Rainstar." Sharpstar meowed proudly. "You have done a great job as my deputy. I know you will be a great leader of SkyClan. Also, Rainstar. You must go to each gathering every full moon with the other full Clans. Don't worry. StarClan has made a way to get here a much faster way than before. But you'll have to find it..." Soon the dream went away. When Rainstar woke up it was day. He padded out of the cave and he saw the SkyClan medicine cat was asleep. He nudged her and she woke up. "How was it? Did you receive your lives?" She asked.
Rainstar nodded.
"Congratulations, Rainstar. Now let's get back to camp. You have patrols to assign. And you'll need a deputy!"
