AngelStar prodded out of her den, barely awake. "might as well start moring patrol." Then, lavendersparkle, one of her warriors, prodded out "may I join your patrol?" she asked "sure, now we need at least two more warriors and we're set." Well thats a start, anyone else wanna join?

Leafstar raised her nose to the air. She had decided to go on a lone patrol to Twisted Claw Cave, and beyond there was the SkyClan Pass. The only shortcut the Clans had to see their fifth Clan.
Leafstar lunged past the cave and ducked under a hole in a bramble pile, crawling for a long while, her pelt getting caught here and there on a thorn. Finally, the bramble tunnel opened up into a small forest. Leafstar raised her nose to the air, following the scent of SkyClan to their nearest marker.
"Hey! You get off my territory!" A rogue cat yelled from behind her. Leafstar pricked her ears, whipping arond and smiling at the small cat who was trying to threaten her.
"I'll be on my way momentarily. Is SkyClan still in that gorge?" She asked, peering over the edge of the forest and down into the deep, rocky gorge.
"Yeah, far as I know." He said, sitting down and licking his paw.
"Okay, thank you." Leafstar said, padding alongside the edge of it, seeing cats bustling around at the bottom.
Suddenly, someone plowed into her, claws extended tumbling Leafstar and the attacker down a hill and into the dirt. Leafstar hopped to her feet and growled intensely at the cat, snarling and baring her teeth. She unsheathed her claws, about to attack when she recognized the face of the SkyClan leader.
"Angelstar!" She yelped, happy to see her old friend.

Strawberryfur padded along the edge of the gourge. She knew no cat would hurt her, expect for a few rouged.She knew skyclan were hostile, but not viscous to kill a medicine cat.Then she scented her "Hawkclaw I came" she said. A thin brown pale she-cat padded out of the bushes " Strawberryfur I'm so happy you came" she said with worried in her voice "What happened" she demanded

"LEAFSTAR!!!" angelstar mewed happily "what are you doing so far away from shadowclan camp? You caught me right on border patrol"  She sniffed the air and sented another all too familiar shadowclan cat... "STARWBERRYFUR!!! What is this my biirthday or something?" lol |

Leafstar nuzzled her friend and then caught the same ShadowClan scent, yelping with delight.
"Strawberryfur?!" She yelped, meeting her ShadowClan Medicine Cat and nuzzling her as well.
"What are you doing here? I was just here to visit Angelstar? Were you here to visit Hawkclaw?" Leafstar guessed, tilting her to the side. She nodded.
"Well, can we descend to the gorge? Or will your Clanmates not like that?" Leafstar asked, standing beside her Medicine Cat

Amberwind followed Leafstar and Strawberryfur's scents and ended up in the gorge of Skyclan. He saw them with Angelstar. "Hey Girls! Dont leave me all alone like that." He padded down to them.

Strawberryfur laughed "Wow amberwind girls to much for ya?" she said giggling.Hawkclaw just laughed "Im sure they wont mind, esecpially if thier with us, and besides strawberryfur is here so they wont think its an attack" she said.

Leafstar nodded in agreement. She turned to Angelstar for a moment.
"So how is everything within SkyClan?" She asked, sitting down, licking her paw. She signaled with her tail for Amberwind to come over and join their conversation, not wanting to leave him out.

Hawkclaw turned to strawberryfur "Strawberryfur my clan is in desprate need of catmint, we have none left" she said her tail drooped and her eyes as idf they were tired.

"Yes everyone can head to the gorge! It'd be impolite not to let you... but... did you all tell your warriors you were leaving... I'd hate for your camp to be attacked... and yes everything is fine in Skyclan... so it seems anyway... no recent catastrofies, except thet I'm leader" XD

Leafstar laughed at the young leader's sense of humor.
"Yes, I told my warriors that I was leaving... However having both the leader and deputy gone is risky..." She said, turning to glance at Amberwind.
"Did you leave Thunderblade in charge of the camp before you left, Amberwind?" She asked, narrowing her eyes worriedly.

(THunderblade I made up on iceheartwarrior.com the old version of this site. I made him up when we needed double bios and I used him a lot as a character. Plus, that's my best guy's friend's warrior name. And he RP'd as him a lot on my computer. But Thunderblade is known as one of my most trusted warriors since he used to be played by my bff)
Leafstar nodded to Angelstar for the offer.
"That's quite alright, ShadowClan will be fine. There is no reason for an attack to be lead. And besides, Thunderblade knows he's in charge when both myself, and Amberwind are gone." She said, sitting down and licking her paw.

"okay... anyway how's shadowclan?" Angelstar sat down and licked her paw also... hopefully none of her warriors realized she was out... she hadn't told anyone she was leaving, but when she scented shadowclan, she sent the warriors that were with her to go back to camp... oh well they'll figure it out sooner or later.

Leafstar sat down and scented the hard coarse dirt of SkyClan's gorge.
"ShadowClan has been fine. We've had some new apprentices appointed to warriors, you know, little things. Shall we proceed into SkyClan gorge?" She asked, standing up and shaking the hard dirt off of her pelt. She scented the air, taking in the dry air. SkyClan was in the middle of a drought. She could taste it in the air, and she could feel it under her paws. The earth in the gorge was dry and cracking and the sun beat down hard on the dead plants that were in the gorge.
"Angelstar... There's a drought in SkyClan right now isn't there?" She asked, looking at the brace SkyClan leader.

"... Sadly ... yes there is... no one has died yet... we didn't think it was a big problem... but you pointed that out really fast ... is it really that bad?" Angelstar shifted her paws... maybe the lack of water was getting worse...

Leafstar nodded her head.
"Well, it may not be noticeable to some, but it is to me. You can tell the type of condition a cat is in mainly by looks, but also by smell and feel. I can feel the had dirt under my paws and also the dry heat in the air. If SkyClan needs access of the river during this time I have an idea..." She said, narrowing her eyes with concern.
"If you will be so kind as too bring you and your deputy and a second warrior if you wish to the next gathering, I will mention something to them about allowing your Clan access of the river." Leafstar said, holding her head up high. SkyClan was allowed to attend the Gatherings, and some devoted warriors and elders did, but most of them just decided on staying in their Clan where they had their own way of accessing StarClan instead of taking the long way to Fourtrees.
