Green eyes showed from the undergrouth. A black cat looked around as she padded towards a large tree. She need herbs and this was the best place to find them. It was getting colder and cat would soon get sick. Even though she didn't want it to change from the warm days to the days were white linded the camp. She need to stock up on a few herbs if she could find them. She looked up at the large tree and then quickly started to yank on a few leaves of catmint. After she made a little pile of the leaves she picked them up in her mouth and started back to camp. But before she got passed the large tree again she heard footsteps coming towards her. She lifted her head and took a deep breath in though her nose. All she could smell was the catmint. She sighed slowly and kept walking. It was just one of the other clan cats. She knew it was, it had to be.

A shiver went up Leafstar's spine as the cold Leafbare wind blew against her pelt. She heard the pawsteps of her Medicine Cat, Strawberryfur coming toward her. They were faint pawsteps, due to the thick snow masking them somewhat.
"Leafstar, we are low on herbs... And almost every kit in the nursery is sick... Greencough is beginning to strike our Clan... We need Catmint if our Clan is to survive...." Strawberryfur said, dark lines under her eyes from working so hard.
"Alright... Strawberryfur, you stay here and do what you can... I'm going to find some Catmint..." Leafstar said, nodding her head toward Strawberryfur before padding toward the exit.
"Check near the Burnt Sycamore!" Strawberryfur called out, a cough coming to her throat before Leafstar disappeared through the brambles.
"I'm going to WindClan... Catmint has reported as being plentiful there." Leafstar said to herself before taking off in a sprint. Before she got to the Thunderpath that separated both Clans, a familiar scent wafted into her nostrils... It was her mate, Shadepelt, on his hunting patrol.
"Shadepelt! Come here!" Leafstar called, before her mate appeared at her side, licking her nose in kindness.
"Yes, Leafstar?" He asked, tilting his head in confusion.
"We need to get Catmint. Greencough has broke out in ShadowClan. Come with me to WindClan. I need to mouths to carry that much back to camp." Leafstar said, lunging onto the Thunderpath and darting onto the open moor toward a thick patch of Catmint.

Blackleaf hear he nosie louder and it was more then one cat. She dropped the cat mint and lifted her nose to the air. The sent of Shadowclan cats filled her nose. Her eyes got big and she froze. She never really learned to fight and she was hopeing they weren't here to cause truble. She started the way the sent came from. 'They woun't hurt me im a medicine cat.' She told her self. She kepted on walking till she could hear the Thunderpath.

Leafstar picked up the scent of a WindClan cat coming toward them. One. She grabbed Shadepelt by the scruff and yanked him into a bramble bush that was thick with the smell of catmint, which was perfect for them because it was what they needed, plus it also disguised their scents.
"Hello?" The sound of a WindClan's cat voice called out. Leafstar poked her head through the brambles, recognizing the face of the WindClan medicine cat, Blackleaf. She was a new Medicine Cat. Relatively new to the Clan, perhaps she would give them catmint...
Leafstar signaled to Shadepelt for them to exit the bush and into the open. Leafstar let her guard down and let her hackles lie flat against her coat.
"Greetings, I am Leafstar... ShadowClan's leader. I am here to ask you something important. My Clan is suffering tremendously from Greencough... As the Medicine Cat of WindClan, i ask you if we could have some catmint for my Clan.

Blackleaf jumped as the LEADER of Shadowclan and a tom came though a bush. She was wided eye again and couldn't speak. "Umm... y-yes. Let me help." She said and started to pull a few leafs of catmint up. "Do you need help carrying back more?" She asked gingerly. She looked at the leader and the tom next to her. She moved her pile closer to them. "I will gladly help." She finished and pulled on another leaf.

Leafstar smiled at the frightened cat and bowed her head in respect toward the Medicine Cat.
"Thank you, that would be very helpful." She said, taking a pile of catmint in her mouth and watched as her mate, Shadepelt, took a pile in his jaws too.
"Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping our Clan." Leafstar said, thankfully, as the cat took the remaining pieces of catmint in her mouth as she followed Leafstar and Shadepelt across the Thunderpath and toward ShadowClan camp.

Blackleaf took the rest of the catmint and ran as fast as she could over the Thunderpath. She had been over many times and knew how to be safe when crossing. She smiled at herself for getting over safely and then followed the Shadowclan leader to there camp. She realised that if she hadn't been there the heard, the catmint would just have been tooken. She shook her head, being careful not to drop any of the herds. No the leader would have came to Windclan and asked for the herbs.... right? She noticed that they were now entering shandowclan camp, some cats you could tell had gotten the sickness. She sighed, they were looking at her weridly.

blackfire walked into shadowclan camp he was not scared of any group of cats looking over there land he was a clouse freand to leafstar and strawberryfur and he would come every now and then but now he had some catmint riverclan had alot and he was giveing some to all the clan med cats "hay leafstar you here hay blackleaf how is the clan going"he said trying to keep the smell of the sickness out of his nose

Leafstar dropped the catmint in Strawberryfur's den, suddenly hearing the familiar voice of Blackfire.
"Yes, Blackfire. We're in Strawberryfur's den." She called, turning around to see Blackfire carrying catmint as well in his mouth. Leafstar immediately bowed her head to Blackfire in thanks.
"ShadowClan is grateful for both RiverClan and WindClan generosity... Thank you both greatly." She said, bowing her head to the Medicine Cats.

Blackleaf turned to see another Medicen cat, the one from Riverclan. She too nodded her head. "I have to be back now, my clan needs me." I said to Leafstar and Blackfire. "It has been nice meeting you, yet again." I bowed my head to each then started to walk the way I had came. |

Leafstar nodded in understanding and watched as Blackleaf left the camp.
"I hope their leaders were alright with them helping ShadowClan..." She whispered under her breath, knowing both the leaders exceedingly well, and even though Leafstar was comrades with all the leaders, she knew that giving away herbs that WindClan or RiverClan needed instead of giving them away to another Clan.
(i was thinking this RP could turn into something? I dont know...)

As soon as i was just about to leave the border of Shadowclan She heard a meowing, a help. She looked around. "Hello?" She called. She heard the deep meow help again and turned in that derection. She started to walk slowlyin the derection and followed the sound. She came to the Thunderpath, kit layed by it lifeless. I quickly ran to it. Dragging it off the Thunderpath. It sighed in pain. Its leg had to be broken. "Its ok your going to be fine. can you tell me your name?" She asked. "My-my name I-is Amber." I knew it was a kittypet name and the little kit was a golden she-cat. I picked her up by the scruff off her neck I had to go back to Shadowclan. I ran that way entering the camp yowling for help, raceing into the .medicen cat den were the leader and the medicen cat was. She has been hurt my a mounster... She is badly hurt. I layed her down by the leader leafstar.

Leafstar gasped as she heard Blackleaf's cry of help. She whipped around toward the ShadowClan entrance, watching as the Medicine Cat dragged in a small kit in his jaws, plopping it down at Leafstar's feet.
"What happened?" Leafstar asked, bending over to the kit and licking it's head comfortingly.
"It was hit by a monster." Blackleaf stated, letting out a sigh of sadness. Leafstar nodded and took the kit by the scruff and carried it into Strawberryfur's den.
"Strawberryfur! We need your help. A kit was hit by a monster at the Thunderpath. We think it's leg is broken." She said, laying it down on a soft pile of leaves. Leafstar sat down beside the kit and licked it's head one more time. "Just hang in there for me, little one." She said, before standing up and padding out of the den.

I followed the Shadowclan leader. "Her name is Amber, the kit I mean." I said in a calm voice. I looked at Leafstar. "As soon as she gets better I want to take her to Windclan." I ment Leafstar's eyes. "I would like to care for her, and we have newly born kits in are clan, the mother, Moonfur (she is another one of my cats who just has two kits) can care for her till we can find her mother. I'm pretty sure she is a kitty pet." I searched leafstar's eyes hoping I would be able to follow my plan, and take the kit with me.
"It hurts." Amber meowed in pain trying to move her leg. "Shh shh." I whispered to her "Its going to be fine."

(sorry! I always get the genders with people's characters mixed up  ) Leafstar pondered Blackleaf's words and narrowed her eyes as she thought deeply. "I think that is a good idea. I will search the kittypet homes nearby and see if any of them are missing a cat and ask the cats around Twolegplace since I am closer to it than you are. For the time being take the kit back to WindClan and care for it there. Amber most likely wouldn't last here since a strain of Greencough is going around." She said, as Strawberryfur began tending to the young kit. |

I smiled. "Thank you very much, I will take care of her well." I said bowing to the Leader. "I'm sure that the mother will be glad to have another kit to." I smiled. "i am very close to her so as soon as Strawberryfur cleans her up and she well anough i will be taking her and you can get back to caring for the other cats in your clan." I nodded to some of the other cats in the medicen cat's den. "Do you need me to help, while im here I can help take care of the kit and you can take care of you clan cats. I'm sure they need you or I can help them?" I looked a round, I felt like a helpless warrior standing here watching the medicen cat work. |
