Ok! I've sorta got an idea lets see if this one will actually be cool... Can we say that Amberwind and Leafstar are good friends, sort of like the way Leafstar and Strawberryfur are?
Amberwind was awoken by a nudge from someones paw, and awoke to see that it was just Krystalriver stretching.. "Are going to organize a patrol or what?" She asked in her intelectual tone. "Yeah, yeah, I'm gettin' up." He mumbled as he stood up and stretched before padding out of the emptying warriors den. The sun was exceptionally high today, although it was still pretty cold, at least there wasn't any paw singing (not like song singing, like singe, as in when your foot is singed by a burning sensation) snow to step on. He noticed Leafstar approaching him, a bright smile on her face. He tried to sit erect and not look slumped and ragged like he just woke up, even though thats what he did)

Leafstar padded toward her deputy and sat down, her tail wrapping delicately around her paws. She noticed the fine posture her deputy was holding and smiled. It was still noticeable that he was tired by the slight drooping of his eyes, but she still appreciated the effort.
"Greetings, Amberwind. I would like to put together a special morning patrol. I have picked up a strong scent of badger and have been meaning to track it." She said, narrowing her eyes and tightening her muscles at the thought of her Clan being in danger.
"You, Thunderclaw, Scrawnypelt, Waterheart, and myself. We must leave soon, so if you could round up the selected warriors it would be much appreciated." She said, padding toward the camp entrance.

Amberwind nodded respectivley. "I shall do as you ask." Fairly quickly, he rounded up the warriors. Thunderclaw had been snoozing, Waterheart was just sitting around, and Scrawnypelt was talking to the elders when he had collected them. Thunderclaw, humorously, was reluctant to awaken. But a good shove and a smell of mouse bile always seemed to do the trick right.
So he made sure that they were all fully ready for the patrol. Amberwind had finished explaining what the patrol was for when he had come back to Leafstar with the three. "They are here. Shall we begin our patrol? What direction was this badger hole detected?"

Leafstar heard the approaching steps of her trusted warriors and deputy and pricked her ears as Amberwind began to speak.
"They are here. Shall we begin our patrol? What direction was this badger hole detected?"
Leafstar narrowed her eyes and breathed in the scents around her. She couldn't pick up the scent of the badger hole from this far away, but it was out there. She could sense it. A family of them at least...
"They were scented over by the Burnt Sycamore." She said, trotting in the direction of where the apprentices train. "The apprentices... We must get there quickly... They could be in danger." Leafstar thought to herself.
As they approached the Burnt Sycamore, the thick scent of badger filled her nostrils. She stopped cold in her tracks and felt her fur stand on ends as she spotted Stoneclaw and his apprentice Vinekit training nearby.
"Are you mouse-brained?" Leafstar called to Stoneclaw, letting out an angry growl. She watched Stoneclaw jolt back slightly at the sound of her presence.
"Leafstar! What is it?" He asked, completely oblivious.
"Do you not smell the scent of badger? Get out of here! Take Vinekit with you. Go!" She said, shooing them out of the area and back toward camp. She turned back to her warriors and let her fur settle and took a deep breath.
"Search the entire area. Try and find a badger hole."
