Leafstar padded out of camp with Firepaw close at her paws. The little apprentice tumbled in the sand, but quickly got to his feet, racing back for Leafstar. Leafstar stopped at the Bramble Pile, and moments later Firepaw was there. "Leafstar? What are we going to do today?" He said, curiously awaiting his first lesson. "Firepaw, today, i'm going to show you the borders of ShadowClan." Firepaw's eyes widened. "Do i get to see the Thunderpath?" He asked, trying to contain his exictment. Leafstar purred with amusement. "Yes, yes you do." Firepaw bounced once and then kept it calm sitting up straight. Leafstar nodded and led the way through the marsh to the edge of the Thunderpath. "Now, Firepaw, this is where- Firepaw! NO!" Leafstar broke off in shock. Firepaw had tripped into the center of the Thunderpath right as a monster was coming. LEafstar lunged and grabbed his pelt, darting to the other side onto ThunderClan territory. "Firepaw, why did you do that?" Leafstar asked questioningly. "Leafstar! IT wasn't me! Someone threw me into the Thunderpath!" Leafstar jumped back, no one had down that except for Tigerstar threw Cinderpelt, the ThunderClan medicine cat from so long ago, into the Thunderpath, could it be, that, Tigerstar was, no. It couldn't be. Leafstar shook the thought and nodded in understanding and grabbed Firepaw by the scruff, darting back into ShadowClan territory. "Let's go see the Burnt Sycamore, i'll show you the Thunderpath later...."

Leafstar stopped in her tracks, her eyes wide. She jerked her head to the side and gritted her teeth, so her apprentice wouldn't notice. "Firepaw, Tigerstar, was, i am his decendant, and well, he did some terrible things to ShadowClan. It's every cat's different opinion on why he did it, but. Well, are you sure you want to know?" Leafstar said, turning to her apprentice now.

Leafstar sat down and put her paw on her apprentice's shoulder. "Sit, it's a bit of a story to tell." Firepaw sat down and crossed his paws, attentively looking at Leafstar. Leafstar sighed and began. "Well, it all started when Tigerstar was kicked out of ThunderClan for trying to kill Bluestar. After he was kicked out, he roamed for awhile on who knows where, and after the fall of both the deputy and leader of ShadowClan, the leader, NIghtstar by the way, he jumped at the opportunity to lead ShadowClan. He took the position and appeared friendly and the greatest leader, and as a matter of fact, Tigerstar was a great leader, until he decided to join RiverClan and ShadowClan to overthrow the other Clans. Tigerstar's plan, was to rule the forest. So he brought BloodClan in to help him to persuade WindClan and ThunderClan, because of course they weren't going to surrender to Tigerstar without a fight. Now, RiverClan and ShadowClan together, Tigerstar called TigerClan. And when ThunderClan's leader, Firestar, saw the amount of cats in TigerClan, which included BloodClan as well, he knew he needed more cats. So ThunderClan and WindClan joined to create LionClan, and then, the leader of BloodClan, Scourge, wanted to kill Tigerstar, for a, uh, well we won't go into WHY he killed him, maybe later, but anyway, after Tigerstar's death, BloodClan decided said that the Clans had to surrender to them, or BloodClan would fight them to the death. And keep in mind, BloodClan was fairly big. So, all four Clans joined together, and also remember, the Clans were a bit weak at the time from many different things, and so the battle went on, and the great leader, Firestar, killed Scourge, and also, Firestar lost his first life in that battle as well. And after Scourge died, BloodClan scattered, and the Clans went back to normal, and ShadowClan leader then, became Blackstar. Do you have any questions? OR anything else you want to ask me?" Leafstar looked at the apprentice and could tell he had another question and just said it. "You want to know how i know where i was during this battle, don't you?" Leafstar said raising her eyebrow and giving another sigh, preparing her story about her life in ClawClan and what happened to her as a kit.

Leafstar took a step back in shock. She saw now that her apprentice was shaking, and now crying with pure terror. Leafstar went up to her apprentice and put her tail around him, like a queen comforting her kit. "Firepaw, it's alright. You don't have to be scared. Nothing is going to happen, i won't let anything happen too you. I'm your leader, and i promise to StarClan to protect my Clan by the cost of all of my lives." Leafstar said, giving a weak, sypathetic smile, trying to reasure her apprentice. Suddenly, someone crashed through the bushes, ramming Leafstar into a tree. Her head spun, as Leafstar got up, swaying herself. She looked ahead of her, and a cat lashed the side of her face with his claws. She heard her apprentice scream and Leafstar quickly regained focus. It was Tigerstar! He had slashed open Firepaw's flank! Tigerstar glared at Leafstar and faded behind the bushes. LEafstar rushed to her apprentice's side who fur was now covered in blood. She hauledd him onto her back and sprinted back to camp. She layed him down in the Medice's Cat Den and sat at his side as Strawberryfur tended to his wounds.

Leafstar closed her eyes tightly. "Yes. This is my fault. I don't think Firepaw and I were exactly.... Destined to be 'parteners'" she said, turning her head away. Firepaw must have caught Leafstar's words because he lashed out, choking his words out. "What!? Leafstar! NO! I want you to be mentor!" He said, gasping and falling back on his bed of leaves. "Please." He gasped. Leafstar tightened her eyes and shut them closed, turning back to Strawberryfur. Strawberryfur read her gaze and nodded. She fed Firepaw some poppyseeds and he was out in a few seconds. "Is he going to be okay?" Leafstar whispered, pulling Strawberryfur to the side.

"he should be okay its not a deep wound,now tell me what exalty happened"strawberryfur mewed,leafstar told her the story and after she was done strawberryfur nodded calmly"firepaw is firestars great grandson and one of my family,lafstar you must now him fireheart after his great grandfather starclan has spoken,i will make sure every day he hasnt had an-HOLY COW DID YOU SEE THAT!?".leafstar whipped around"no what was it?"she asked."starclan has spoken it shows me a phrophy,fire amd ice will save our clan,well we know who the fire is now t-HOLY COW ITS FIREFANGS NEW PUP!"strawberryfur sqeaked.

Leafstar looked in every direction, a state of confusion clouding her head. "Strawberryfur? What are you talking about?" Leafstar turned to Firepaw, he was glowing a bright red, brighter than usual. Across the clearing, she noticed Nailyila, her 'adopted' daughter coming out of the apprentices den. Her blue coat glowed, just as Firepaw's, only it was an ice colored blue that was reflecting off her. "Fire and Ice." She said, repeating Strawberryfur's prophesy. Nailyila and Firepaw were to work together... Strawberryfur looked at Leafstar in awe and stared back between the two apprentices. "Amazing!" She said, none of the other cats seemed to faze, not even Firepaw or Nailyila, they were all completely clueless of the upcoming future. Only Strawberryfur and Leafstar knew the eventful future that awaited the two cats...

Leafstar nodded in understandment. She looked at Icepup. He was glowing too. Only a lighter shade of blue than Nailyila. "So, do you want to handle Icepup and Firepaw and i'll handle Nailyila?" Leafstar said in a sigh. Strawberryfur nodded and the two friends parted to tell the kits of their hidden and awaiting future.

Leafstar padded up to Nailyila adn smiled, sitting down. Nailyila's eyes glowed and she began bouncing around. "What is it, Aunt Leafstar? Are we going exploring? Can you take to the grasslands outside the territories again?! I loved that place! it was so much like home!" Leafstar opened her mouth to disagree but then nodded her head slowly. "Sure, lets go." She said, bounding out of camp. She began sprinting through the brush and past the Shining Stream. She lunged over the deep water, and through the shallow shores. She bounded through the mud and plunged into the tall grass. Nailyila was already close at her feet, her big paws vibrating the ground Leafstar ran on. Leafstar watched Twisted Claw Cave flash past her and she skirded to a stop. She lunged into the grasslands and into an open clearing. She whipped around and sat down. Moments later, Nailyila crashed through the grass into the clearing, skirding to a stop. Leafstar smiled happily and sighed. "Nailyila, um..." Nailyila's face sunk and she tilted her head to the side. "What is it, Leafstar?" Leafstar sighed, focusing her vision on something distant. "StarClan... sent Strawberryfur a prophesy." Nailyila's eyes shot wider. "What is it?" She said, panic in her voice. "A prophesy about... you. It said 'An ice kit as white as snow will become a lion from the shadows." Nailyila put her head down. "Oh. W- What do you think it means?" Leafstar shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know... StarClan doesn't say. All i know is that you have a prophesy in your paws." She said, sighing. "But, Nailyila, i will be with you every step. You can talk to me always." She said, smiling. Nailyila sighed and gave a weak smile. "Thanks Aunt Leafstar." She said, Nailyila gave a playful growl and lunged at LEafstar, and the two tumbled down the slope and out of the grasslands and into the murky lake. The two resurfaced and began laughing. "Alright, come on. There are crocs in this lake. Let's get out of here." Leafstar said, swimming to the shore. Suddenly, she heard Nailyila shriek and she whipped around, "Nailyila!" She screamed, crocs surrounded Nailyila on all sides and were closing in on her. "Nailyila! I'm coming!" Leafstar said, diving into the murky waters. "StarClan! Help us!" She said, centering into the circle of crocs and grabbing Nailyila by the scruff and bounding ontop of a crocs head and across the rest of them. She saw the crocs swimming faster to them. LEafstar bounded to the shore and released Nailyila's scruff. "Run Nailyila! Run!" She watched Nailyila take off into the grasslands and Leafstar followed along, her pawsteps getting faster. The two stopped in the center of a clearing and they panted. Their faces facing each other. The two smiled and burst out laughing. "Aunt Leafstar! That was so much fun! WOO!" Nailyila said jumping up and down. Leafstar smiled, "Come on!" She said, bounding atop a massive pile of boulders. "I wanna show you something!" Nailyila followed and Leafstar weaved around rocks and grass piles. Leafstar stopped at a massive rock that overloocked the entire grasslands. Nailyila stopped and gauked in front of her. "You want to go to the top?" Leafstar erged, knowing how much this meant to Nailyila. "I didn't know it was located here.. Is- Is it the real one?" Leafstar nodded. "The real one. The first ones, they were here." Nailyila nodded and padded past Leafstar bounding to the top of the rock and overlooking the grasslands. "I never though this moment for me would come, nothing like this..." She said, smiling. "Go on." Leafstar said, smiling. Nailyila nodded and stepped out to the edge giving a loud roar. Leafstar smiled, her eyes full of sympathy. She knew how much this meant to Nailyila. Leafstar had heard rumors of this rock being here, and she searched for days, looking for this one boulder, she knew it meant wonders to Nailyila... Roaring off of the great Pride Rock...

Leafstar whipped around, her eyes full of worry. She narrowed her eyes at Nailyila, "I wonder..." She said, she called Nailyila's name loudly. "Nailyila, come with me! quickly!" She roared. Leafstar lunged into the field. "Strawberryfur, is everyone out of camp?" Leafstar called behind, as Strawberryfur padded up. "Yes, i think so. I left Willowfur to watch everyone who did get out." Leafstar nodded, her eyes still narrowed. She burst into the flaming camp, shards of ashes flying everywhere. Her camp was collapsing. "Nailyila! Come here, quickly!" Nailyila appeared at her side, her sides heaving. "Nailyila, your mother was the lioness of water, she could control it, i think you have what it takes to save our camp." LEafstar said, resting her tail on Nailyila's shoulder. "Leafstar, i don't know, my mother never said anything of this, i don't know if i can-" "Nailyila! you are our only hope, well, there is- me- well, nevermind, Nailyila, we need you!" Nailyila shook her head. "Leafstar! I can't! You've had more experience then i have! Please!" "Nailyila, i haven't in so long, i don't know if i still can!" "Well i can't!" Leafstar turned to Strawberryfur who was beyond confused now. Leafstar sighed, and closed her eyes. "Strawberryfur, what you see, remains only between the three of us." Leafstar said, stepping out into the middle of the flaming camp. Leafstar sighed, and her body began shaking uncontrolably. Suddenly, there was a sudden burst of smoke. As the puff cleared, Leafstar looked down, her paws were montrous. She had done it. The power she had contained for so long, so many moons when she was still apart of BarrenClan, she had now released once more. She felt so young, so free. Her mane was a bright clear blue, and her fur glowed a beautiful white and there was a large swirling pattern that weaved across her back in a dark blue, along with the tips of her paws which were also that same blue as well. Leafstar- well, now Payliri- lunged into the sky. Behind her paws, layed down amist of water. Her eyes began to glow and out of her mouth roared a gush of water, that spraed her burning camp down to nothing. She shut her mouth from the water and lowered to the ground. Her paws shaking. Leafstar fell to her side in exaustion. She hadn't used her powers in forever. Before she was even born into a cat on earth. She reopened her eyes, the shaking had stopped and another puff of smoke went by and she was her usual discolored brown tabby again with the same leaf-colored grreen eyes she had had for the past 4 years of her life on earth. She sighed, hauling herself to her feet. She turned around to face her crowd of Strawberryfur and Nailyila who stood there, both mouths gaping. "I can explain..." Leafstar began, worry edged in her voice.

LEafstar growled, but not a regular growl, a lion's growl. "What is your wearabouts, here?" She said, sniffing over the lioness, bounding in front of her. The lioness towered over LEafstar and LEafstar shut her eyes, transforming back into Payliri, her lion form. The lioness gasped. "Payliri! I don't believe it!" The lioness bowed her head in gratefulness. "I didn't know this is where you left too." She said, looking up. Leafstar knew that Strawberryfur was confused now. "Alright, Straw. A long long time ago, i was a lioness, this was before Kova actually, for about 1000 years i was the guardian of all the lands, including BarrenClan, and every other Clan that lied out there in the Pridelands. Sort of like the ultimate queen. I had the power of water, and my mate, Yuimoro, had the power of fire. We rules together. But soon, he died, and i had to lead the Pridelands on my own, Xate was leader at the time, and i went to him, since i was a 'member' of his Clan. Xater had the most power in all the Pridelands, being like the 'King Trident' kind of guy, for i was only the meer guardian of the Pridelands, i didn't necessarily rule it, i went to him and asked to leave the Pridelands. he tried to talk me out of it, because they needed me, but i refused i didnt kow what he would make me on earth, but i appeared as a baby kit, the daughter of a rogue, and started my new lif eas a cat, only using my powers once - well, nw twice- ever since i left BarrenClan... the first time i used my powers, i almost was killed.. so i havent used them since... every now and then, when it is desperately needed i shall.. but, that's the story...."
